St. Aloysius International School, CBSE, Harihar, observed the Season of Creation 2026 with the theme “Climate Justice – A Journey Towards COP 31.” The programme aimed to deepen ecological awareness among students and inspire them to become responsible guardians of our common home. The celebrations were organised around three key actions: PRAY, LEARN and ACT. During the first week, a daily prayer and ecological reflection was conducted during the morning assembly at 9:45 a.m. Each day focused on a different theme related to caring for creation. An Eco-Quiz Competition was conducted to make environmental learning engaging and collaborative. • Classes 1–5: Eco Word Challenge including Spelling Bee and Jumbled Words • Classes 6–10: Eco Quiz Challenge, including reading, listening and visual comprehension. A school-wide Campus Cleaning Drive – “Clean Campus, Green Campus” was conducted with the participation of Classes 1–10, Scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls, under the guidance of teachers. Students cleaned their allotted areas, practised responsible waste management and developed a greater sense of responsibility and ownership towards their school environment. The Season of Creation 2026 was a meaningful journey from reflection to awareness and from awareness to action. It inspired the school community to continue working towards a cleaner campus, a greener future and a more sustainable world.
“Let us not only learn about caring for creation—let us act, together.”
